Rondo 2x2.5T (single wire)
A new addition to the range, Rondo 2x2.5T is the single wired version
of the BEST BUY Rondo 4x2.5T.
The same conductors are used but in a single wired form, with just
two conductors per sheath.
This makes it ideal for rear channel speakers, or for those that
are not fitted with bi-wire terminals.
Rondo 2x2.5T (shown above)
2 x 2.5 sq. mm Tin-plated OFC. Application examples: Medium power
systems or shorter lengths in high power systems. Available in Ice
Blue or Anthracite Grey coloured outer insulation.
Rondo 4x1.6HT, 4x2.5T and Rondo 4x4T (all bi-wired cables)
Rondo Series 4x1.6HT cable is now sold in Halogen-Free
PE insulation, making this cable very suitable for use in domestic
(multi-room systems), industrial and business settings (hotels,
clubs, etc) as the cable uses Halogen-Free materials which
help prevent the emission of toxic gases, should there be a fire.
Rondo 4x 1.6HT
This is a new, cheaper version of the Best Buy 4x2.5. This uses
4x 1.6 sq mm tin-plated Oxygen Free conductors in a Halogen Free
outer insulation, making this very suitable for long runs esp in
new buildings, where a smoke-free cable is required to meet fire
regulations. Available in Ice Blue coloured outer insulation only.
See lower section for wiring information
Rondo 4x2.5T (shown above)
4 x 2.5 sq. mm Tin-plated OFC. Application examples: Bi-wiring/bi-amping
high power systems or longer lengths in low/medium power systems.
Available in Ice Blue or Anthracite Grey coloured outer insulation.
See lower section for wiring information
Rondo 4x4T (shown above right)
(previously known as Quattro 4x4)
4 x 4.0 sq. mm Tin-plated OFC. Application examples: Bi-wiring/bi-amping
high power systems or longer lengths in low/medium power systems.
Available in Ice Blue or Anthracite Grey coloured outer insulation.

Wiring information (current Rondo range)
For bi-wiring Rondo Bi-wire cables, follow this scheme, known as
"star-quad", to ensure the best sound and to minimise
inductance:
At the amplifier end:
Twist the Red and Light
Blue coloured conductors together and connect to the
amplifier positive (+) or RED
coloured speaker terminal, preferably using a good quality connector,
such as the Supra Banana or Supra CombiCon connectors.
Then, twist the Black and White
coloured conductors together and connect to the amplifiers negative
(-) or BLACK coloured speaker terminal, preferably using
a good quality connector, such as the Supra Banana or Supra CombiCon
connectors.
At the speaker end:
Connect the Red wire to the
Treble (or HF) + terminal, and the Black
wire to the Treble (or HF) - terminal.
And then connect the Light Blue
wire to the Bass (or LF) + terminal and the White
wire to the Bass (or LF) - terminal.
The use of suitable connectors at the loudspeaker end of the cable
will permit the easy connection and disconnection. If possible please
use good quality, colour coded connectors, such as the Supra Banana,
Supra Fork or Fork-XL or Supra CombiCon connectors.

Wiring for Quattro Bi-wire cables
For bi-wiring Quattro 4x4, the following wiring information is
relevant, based on the older colour coding for this cable, which
is as follows::
At the amplifier end:
Twist the Red and Green
coloured conductors together and connect to the amplifier positive (+) or RED
coloured speaker terminal, preferably using a good quality connector, such as
the Supra Banana or Supra CombiCon connectors.
Then, twist the Dark Blue and
White coloured conductors together
and connect to the amplifiers negative (-) or BLACK coloured
speaker terminal, preferably using a good quality connector, such
as the Supra Banana or Supra CombiCon connectors.
At the speaker end:
Connect the Red wire to the Treble (or HF)
+ terminal, and the Dark Blue wire to
the Treble (or HF) - terminal.
And then connect the Green
wire to the Bass (or LF) + terminal and the White
wire to the Bass (or LF) - terminal.
